Cheaper Holidays, Flights and Hotels Via Cash Back Websites

Are you based in the United Kingdom and going on holiday soon? Are you looking for a way to reduce the cost of your holiday? If so, then this article is for you.
As a traveller, it is possible for you to earn cash-back on flight bookings, hotel bookings, car rentals, travel insurance bookings and many other holiday purchases you might make.
To earn cash you will need to register with one of the popular money-back websites. The most popular ones in the United Kingdom are listed below:
  1. Quidco
  2. TopCashback
  3. Cashbackkings
Quidco is one of the oldest in the United Kingdom. It pays back 100% of the cash you earn. It however charges a 5 pounds/yr account fee. It has the highest number of merchants.
TopCashback pays back 100% of the money you earn and doesn't charge annual account fees. It however has less merchants than Quidco but is very close.
Cashbackkings is the last website which charges an annual 5 pounds account fee but has less merchants.
To earn, follow the steps below:
  • Find the best sites offering you the best prices for the various components of your holiday i.e. flight, hotel, car rental, insurance, gifts, holiday accessories.
  • Check if the sites are on any of the cash back websites and check the payout rates. If they are on more than one of the money back sites, then pick the site with the best rate . For example, Expedia on both Quidco and Topcashback offers 1% on flight bookings, 6.9% on car rentals and 7.25% on hotel bookings. For travel insurance, you can earn 15% back from Flexicover or 16% from Columbus Direct Travel Insurance on both Quidco and Topcashback.
  • After you've decided on the website you will use, clear your browser cookies.
  • Go to the cash back website and register. Log into the site and search for the merchants you want to purchase from. Visit the merchant's website by following the cash-back link displayed. Do not go to the merchant's website directly.
  • Make your purchase at the merchant and watch the cash back flow into your account.
All the best with your cash back earnings and enjoy your holiday.
